Composition: Meniscus. Tissues may contain traces of the antibiotic gentamicin.
Definition: Musculoskeletal tissue of human origin, allogeneic, sterile, frozen.
Indications: Reconstructive operations in surgery, orthopedics, traumatology and sports medicine.
Packaging: Each tissue is individually vacuum packed in foil packaging. The primary packaging is placed in the secondary packaging and then in the tertiary packaging which contains the pocket with final label. Tertiary packaging is the final protective packaging.
Storage: Store at a temperature of -20 °C to -39.9 °C for a maximum of 1 month and at a temperature of -40 °C and below until the expiration date indicated on the label.
Preparation of tissue for use: Remove tissue and thaw by immersion in sterile saline solution at room temperature and wait until the soft parts of the tissue completely does not defrost, at least 30 minutes.
Expiration: 5 years from the date of tissue processing if stored at -40°C and below.
